Football Director

Football Director was a home made football management game released by an unknown company D & H Games in 1985. The game became a smash-hit because it was the most realistic Footie-Management game released on the Speccy.

The best thing about the game was that nearly everything you could think of was in the game from Club Finances, injuries, ground improvement, player histories and it was all editable. The game was all text and for once in this type of game the match results were realistic and it was a forerunner to the excellent Championship Manager game series released for the PC.
